Sports & Deep Tissue Massage

When carrying out physical activity, your muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints are put through a lot of strain. A build up of this tension and strain can lead to injury. Deep tissue massage will help to relieve tension and aid in preventing injury.

Facts

  • Massage is the most effective way of releasing muscle tension.

  • It helps to reduce muscular pain whilst having a relaxation effect.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are described as knots or tight bands within muscle tissue that can be felt under the skin and can cause pain when pressed. They can be either active, causing pain at rest or with movement, or latent, causing pain only when touched.
